I still can't believe my age. I still feel so much younger. In fact, I am still mistaken by some folks around these parts in the wonderful world of Suburbia. I recieved a book called "Grotesque" by Natsuo Kirino, 10$ gift card to Macy's, an iHome, and $$$. I have to read "9 Stories" by Salinger (grrrr) in 3 weeks and "Angela's Ashes" by McCourt in 2 weeks. I haven't even brought the latter. I'm so screwed.
Now for topics only I care about:
- Fullmetal Alchemist 16 came out. Too many new characters introduced. Getting a little to fantasy-y for my tastes, however; I have faith in Arakawa. What is this "purification arts" from Xing? Will the boys find May Chang before they freeze in the Briggs mountains? I'm very curious.
- Supernatural: next episode is April 24, which will conclude season 3. DARN YOU STUPID CW FOR MAKING US WAIT over 2 MONTHS FOR A NEW EPISODE. There is a rumor that season 3 will be the end of the Supernatural saga, and if it is true, I swear, I will sue that network and use the money from the lawsuit to BRING THE SHOW BACK. so, for my sake, let season 4 commence!
- Music: Skillet is my new favorite band. Listen to "Whispers in the Dark", "The Last Night", and "Comatose". ANY band that successfully uses violin, piano, guitar and drum deserves some sort of award.
